Our Story

After 8 Lounge is run by three friends who first met on Phu Quoc Island, in the south of Vietnam. Surrounded by beaches and palm trees, we dreamed of finding a place that offered a contrast—a second home with a different kind of charm. One of us had already backpacked through Phong Nha, so we all took a trip here one day, and that was it—we fell in love with this area and Quang Binh province as a whole.

After 8 Lounge is a concept we’ve poured our hearts into. We wanted to create a space with a laid-back, home-like vibe, where travelers and locals alike can take a breather and just enjoy the moment.

We know how tiring travel can be, and sometimes you just need a place that feels like home. Nestled by the riverbanks of the Con River, our lounge is the perfect spot to unwind, take in the view, and relax. Whether you’re here for a quick bite or a proper meal with a quality cocktail in hand, we’ve got you covered.
